The Blackhawk 4X4 STBJK01A Sway Bar Disconnect has been designed with adjustability to suit a huge variety of lifts for the JK Wrangler from standard 2″ to 8″ lift.

It is supplied complete with brackets that you install to simply hook the sway bar onto, to keep the sway bar from dragging on the ground following disconnect. Includes retention brackets.

From the premium Blackhawk range, is the STB896KITEXT which has been designed & manufactured as a complete kit for the rear of your 200 series with KDSS.

The kit consists of:

• STB8961EXT
• STB8962EXT
• Associated Hardware for both kits.

The Blackhawk STB8962EXT is a one piece forged design with OE spec rubber bushings & ball stud to replicate the OE item in function & appearance suited to KDSS 200 Series with 50mm+ suspension lift.

The new Roadsafe RH rear extended sway bar link has been
designed to work in conjunction with the new STB8962EXT
50mm dropped forged LH rear link to allow for considerably
increased suspension travel on 200 series KDSS vehicles
when fitted with longer travel shocks (length to be checked &
confirmed prior to fitment

The new link includes a 50mm drop at the swaybar mount pivot, compared to the OE arm, allowing considerably increased suspension travel for 200 Series with KDSS when modified to run longer travel shocks (length to be checked & confirmed prior to fitment) and other supporting modifications such as the Roadsafe APR015 (adjustable rear panhard rod) TALC201B (rear upper offset trailing arms) plus other 200 Series components.

STB8962EXT is a DIRECT replacement for the LH Rear Link. The extended STB8961EXT is to be used to accommodate the RH Rear Link requirements.

If you hear an odd ‘knocking’ sound from your front end, check your Sway Bar Links. If they are loose or look like the rubber or urethane is worn – replace them! It is generally a cheap DIY job and can save you dramas down the track!.
